Meaning
The one who is excessively devoted
To protecting those who devoutly
Meditate on her feet,
The one who wards off the fears
Caused by phenomenal becoming;
The one who is profusely worshipped
By the mythological characters
Like the Indra of heaven
Of well-purified minds;
The one who is the abode
Of all the excellently accomplished
Aesthetic sentiments;
The one that finds expression
In all the systems of thought,
Śiva, the wife of Śiva the wearer
Of the sharpened autumnal crescent moon-
May she cause the emergence of the auspicious!
