Verse 1 को नाम देशः का जातिः प्रवृत्तिः का कियद्वयः इत्यादि वादोपरतिर्- यस्य तस्यैव निर्वृतिः । Transliteration Kō nāma dēśaḥ kā jātiḥ Pravṛttiḥ kā kiyadvayaḥ Ityādi vādōparatir- yasya tasyaiva nirvṛtiḥ. Meaning What is your name? Of which place are you? Of what caste are you? Of what career are you? How old are you? From questions such When one is free, One attains Final Emancipation!
