നാദം കടന്നു നടുവേ വിലസുന്ന നിന്മെയ്
ചേതസ്സിലായ് വരിക ജന്മമറുന്നതിന്നായ്
ബോധം കളഞ്ഞു പുറമേ ചുഴലും ചെവിക്കൊ-
രാതങ്കമില്ലടിയനുണ്ടിതു തീർക്ക ശംഭോ!

Transliteration
Nādaṃ kaṭannu naṭuvē vilasunna ninmey
Cētassilāy varika janmamaṟunnatinnāy
Bōdhaṃ kaḷaññu puṟamē cuḻaluṃ cevikko-
rātaṅkamillaṭiyanuṇṭitu tī‍r‍kka śaṃbhō!

Meaning
The Reality-Form of yours
Shines neutrally in everything,
Transcending the realm of sounds.
Let me perceive
It as the Substance
That fills the being of my mind
So that the phenomenon of birth
Finds extermination.
The ears that indiscriminately
Drift around externally
Have no afflictions of their own;
But I do have.
Please put an end to it.
O the one that brings about auspiciousness!
