This work was written in the 1920's when a rich man, who donated a piece of land in Madras to Guru, attempted to take it back because of some legal hurdles. Malayalam is its language and Anustup, the metre.

നല്ലതല്ലൊരുവന്‍ ചെയ്ത നല്ലകാര്യം മറപ്പത്
നല്ലതല്ലാത്തതുടനെ മറന്നീടുന്നതുത്തമം.

Transliteration
Nallatalloruvan‍ ceyta nallakāryaṃ maṟappat
Nallatallāttatuṭane maṟannīṭunnatuttamaṃ.

Meaning
Forgetting something good
Done by someone else
Is no good at all.
It is good to forget instantly
What is not at all good.
