कथं भवति वागपि?
असन्निकृष्टत्वादस्मिन्
प्रत्यक्षमनुमानवत् ।

Transliteration
Asti dhar‍mītyanumitiḥ
Kathaṃ bhavati vāgapi?
Asannikṛṣṭatvādasmin
Pratyakṣamanumānavat.

Meaning
How is inferential knowledge
Possible with the underlying substance (dharmi),
Even in verbal terms?
The case of perceptual knowledge
Too is like the inferential one,
Because no sense contact
Is possible with the substance.
